Analyst Programme

New analysts undergo an intensive training programme designed to build the foundational skills required for equity research. Our workshops cover basic accounting, 3-statement modelling, DCF and comparable company analysis, and advanced Excel techniques.

Beyond technical skills, we teach analysts how to generate investment ideas, conduct primary research, and develop differentiated investment theses. Throughout the academic year, analysts work directly with portfolio managers on investment pitches, gaining exposure to the entire investment process from idea generation through to portfolio construction and ongoing monitoring.

All investment decisions require a formal pitch to the investment committee, where analysts defend their theses and respond to rigorous questioning. This process develops the analytical rigour and communication skills essential for a career in finance.
